Welcome to Blackrock Scottish Tours

Let me be your local guide and introduce you to some of the highlights of our beautiful country with every last detail designed to fit around your requirements and interests. – mountains, lochs, castles, glens, bloody history, wild walks, whisky, wildlife and fantastic local food. Our wee company is named after the iconic Blackrock Cottage in Glencoe in the shadow of the mighty Buchaille Etive Mhor. Blackrock Cottage is the Scottish Ladies Mountaineering club hut and one of my favourite places in Scotland. When you see the whitewashed walls steeped in history below the sharp Glencoe peaks, you know your’e in the Highlands! I have a passion for Scotland and our magnificent Highlands and Islands with over 25 years’ experience of exploring Scotland. I know the best places to visit, to stay, to eat and drink.

Forget about the large tour companies and formulaic tour programmes and Loch Ness tours, let me show you the real Scotland. I have many years experience exploring and travelling around Scotland, hillwalking, climbing, skiing as well island hopping and taking my family and friends to secret beaches and hidden glens that most visitors miss.
