We offer an exciting range of Private Highland Tours

As an approx guide: A private day tour will cost from £475 for up to eight passengers, depending on time of year and distance travelled. This fee covers all pre-tour planning, guiding, fuel, parking and insurance. Tours start and finish at your hotel accommodation or Airport and are normally 7-8 hours long. we can collect from Edinburgh, Glasgow, Stirling or Perth. Half day tours can also arranged. A multi-day tour costs from £595 per day for up to Eight passengers, depending on the number of passengers, time of year and distance travelled. The fee covers all planning, guiding, fuel, parking, insurance and also the guides accommodation and meals while on tour.

Please Note: Accommodation and Attraction admission costs, any ferry charges, food and drink and are not included in the daily rate price. This allows for maximum flexibility based around your own tastes and budget so each passenger can choose decide exactly what they wish to include.

On our Private Highland Tours we use a hand-picked selection of accommodation suppliers based on our knowledge and experience to give you the very best of Scottish hospitality.  We use a wide  range of accommodation types including top quality hotels, guesthouses, bed and breakfasts and self-catering cottages. We have a range of options depending on your budget and preference. We aim to find the best accommodation to suit you based on your own interests and requirements.

We’ll send you accommodation suggestions, based on your budget, preferences and availability. We ask that you book and pay the accommodation owners directly.


When you are happy with your agreed  PRIVATE TOUR itinerary then its best to book as soon as possible, as we get busy, particularly in the summer months, from June to Sept.

You can pay by bank transfer or we can issue a PayPal invoice (5% surcharge), allowing you to pay by the following methods: Mastercard, Visa, Maestro & American Express


Pay 50% deposit in advance. This reserves your tour dates and confirms your acceptance of our fees. It is non-refundable, so please make sure you have comprehensive travel insurance that will cover you in case you have to change your travel plans. Any ferry fares must also be paid for in full in advance.
Pay the final 50% balance no later than 28 days before your tour begins. This confirms your tour. If you are booking less than 28 days before your tour starts, simply send the full balance in a single payment.
All fees to be quoted and paid in British Pounds Sterling (£).


Cancellation must be made in writing.
Deposits are non-refundable in the case of any cancellation.
Cancellation of a tour less than two weeks before the start date will require 100% of the fee to be paid.
Cancellation of a tour between three months and up to two weeks before the scheduled start date, 50% of the outstanding fee will be payable.
Cancellation of a tour up to three months prior to the scheduled start date will accrue no fee penalty.


Blackrock Scottish Tours cannot accept responsibility for losses or additional expenses incurred due to delays or change in transportation (air, rail, sea or other services), technical problems to transport, sickness, weather, strike or other causes which are outside our control.

If we must cancel your booking for any unforeseen reasons, any payment already received will be refunded in full. Blackrock Scottish Tours will not accept liability for any expenses over and above this.

Except for during travel in our minibus, Blackrock Scottish Tours does not provide insurance cover. Customers are responsible for their own travel insurance and luggage is conveyed at owners’ own risk.
